Sam Y.S. Lee / Founder and CEO

Sam Y.S. Lee has a long and respected history of supporting global CSR endeavors. Prior to founding InnoCSR, he worked as a Client Partner for Trilogy China in their automobile industry division. He also worked with United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), China in Private Sector Fundraising. Sam holds an MBA degree for China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) and a B.A. from Korea University. In addition, Sam is the author of “China MBA (2005)” and the co-author of “In Search of Economic Frontiers (2006)”, both published in Korea.

Stephanie He/ Senior consultant

Stephanie has more than 7 years of international work experience in Public Relations, Marketing and CSR. She has worked for ZTE Corporation, AXA France, Equance Wealth Management and Non-Profit Incubator. She has a Masters degree from Paris Graduate School of Management.

Magali Menant, Manager, Delegation of German Industry and Commerce Shanghai
Since 2002, Ms. Menant is in charge of promoting German environmental technologies through services and projects. Apart from doing SMEs innovation and R&D, she was also instrumental in framing campaigns for the successful Ecobuild Shanghai 2006 project. Through her constant and continuous efforts, she aims to promote Sino-German cooperation on sustainable practices.

Bala Ramasamy, Professor, China Europe International Business School (CEIBS)
Dr. Bala Ramasamy is the Professor of Economics at the China Europe International Business School since January 2006. Prior to CEIBS Prof. Ramasamy has taught in Malaysia, New Zealand, Macau, Singapore and the UK. He researches in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility as well as International Business Strategies. His research has been published in several leading international journals. Prof. Ramasamy is also actively involved in the training of young people in leadership and moral empowerment.

Haixiang (Vic) Lee, Executive Vice President, Operations Support System, Tencent Inc.
Haixiang (Vic) Lee, became Executive Vice President of Tencent Inc. in December 2005 with the responsibility to plan, construct and manage the technical platform supporting their various operations. Before joining Tencent in 1999, Mr. Lee was in charge of developing the financial and network application software at an IT system integrated company. Mr Lee holds a Bachelors degree in computer software from South China University of Technology.

William Valentino, Vice-President CSR, Bayer China
Mr. Valentino is the VP of Bayer’s Corporate Social Responsibility for Greater China. He chairs the European Chamber’s CSR working Group in Beijing and is also a longstanding member of the Amcham CSR Committee. In 2006 he was selected to be a member of the National Committee on United States-China relations and in 2007, he joined the International Advisory Board of the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship, at the Boston College Carroll School of Management.

Henri-Claude De Bettignies, Professor, Director
Euro-China Centre for Leadership and Responsibility (ECCLAR), CEIBS
Dr. Henri-Claude de Bettignies is the EU Chair Professor of Global Governance and Sino-European Business Relationship at CEIBS and the Aviva Chair Emeritus Professor of Leadership and Responsibility at INSEAD (where he was the Founder and Director General of the Euro-Asia Centre). Until 2005, and for 16 years, he was teaching at Stanford University. He currently works on the development of Responsible Leadership in China and on embedding CSR in corporate strategy at CEIBS.

Oliver Yang, Manager, CSR & GR, The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai
Mr. Oliver Yang is the CSR and Government Relations Manager at American Chamber of Commerce, Shanghai. His endearing corporate experience and education enables him to work closely with the member, social and government entities to smoothen communication and cooperation, to bridge associations between government authorities and US business communities.

Jay Hyuk Rhee, Professor, Korea University Business School in Seoul Korea
Jay Hyuk Rhee is Professor of International Business/Strategy at Korea University Business School. He received his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University. Prior to joining Korea University Business School, he served on the faculty at San Jose State University. During his stay in San Jose, he also worked as the education director for Korean E-business Commercialization Institute (KECI), an institute that assists and augments collaboration between Korea and U.S. venture industries. At Korea University Business School, he served as a director for the Executive MBA (E-MBA) program and currently is a director of the Center for Asian Business. At Korea University, he is a member of admissions officers and professor associations.

He has received many honors and awards for excellence in teaching, research, and professional service, as well as invitations to give seminars to Korean multinational corporations including Samsung Electronics, Hyundai and Kia Motor Companies, Hyundai Mobis, AMOREPACIFIC, Kookmin Bank, and SK as well as research and education institutions including Korea Institute for Industrial Economics & Trade, Korea Banking Institute, Korea Financial Telecommunications and Clearings Institute, Samsung Human Resources Development Center, and SK Academy.

His research interests include the strategic management and international expansion processes of multinational firms, global entrepreneurship, e-commerce strategy, global competition, and corporate social responsibility. He has published many refereed articles in leading U.S., European, and Korean academic journals.
